New Testament portion
of today's One Year Bible reading:
II Corinthians 2:10-11
And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ's authority for your benefit, so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.
When the Devil hatches his evil schemes for your life and mine, you can bet those schemes include all manor of unforgiveness. He wants walls of enmity between spouses, parents and children, co-workers and church members. Want to outsmart the devil? It's simple - forgive.
I pray that you will forgive someone today. Please pray that for me.
