II Corinthians 4:12
So we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you.
While in Texas we visited the Alamo. Approximately two hundred men willingly chose to stay and defend the mission even though they knew it meant almost certain death. This is the reason that particular battle stands out among the 47 battles fought in the Texas Revolution. Over the thirteen day siege, they
lived in the face of death
, in order to win political freedom for
Texas
. Friends, we
all
live in the face of death, but how many of us do so in such a way as to win
spiritual
freedom for others?
I pray that today, you will live with purpose in the face of death. Please pray that for me.
