of today's One Year Bible reading:
II Corinthians 4:16ff
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.
Long before
Winston Churchill
's 1941 "Never, never, never give in" speech, Paul said "never give up." Sometimes we have to put our heads down and grind it out to get through whatever Satan has to throw at us. Paul reminds us that it's worth it to push through. We can never give up on our marriages, our kids, our friends, our churches, our faith, our Lord and our God. You and God are unstoppable.
I pray that today you will refuse to give up. Please pray that for me.
