The Pokemon Trading Card Game returns to the Treasure Coast for a second season of league activities at the Port St. Lucie Wal-Mart. The league is held every Thursday starting at 6:30 in the McDonald's Restaurant at the Wal-Mart SuperCenter.
The Port St Lucie league is sponsored by Team OP and Pokemon USA, Inc.
What is a Pokemon TCG League?
The Pokémon TCG League is a great way for players of all ages to get together and hone their skills (and decks) in a casual setting. League members are rewarded for playing games, win or lose. The more you play, the more you earn! Learn the game, come and trade or have a night of family fun. Check out your new pokemon league; it's back and better then ever.
Each league cycle consists of several seasons. Each season lasts approximately six weeks. Most leagues meet once a week for two to four hours. During that time, players earn prizes for participating in the league. Participation includes playing Pokémon TCG games, and completing activities and trading cards.
The 2008 league cycle, the Sinnoh League, is based on the eight cities from the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl DS games and cartoons. Each season represents one of these major cities.
League activities are open to all age groups and player experience levels. Parents are encouraged to participate also.
Team OP, part of the TOP Initiative, is dedicated to sharing and growing the game of Pokemon. Look for future announcements related to additional events and leagues thoughout the Treasure and SpaceCoast areas.
