Dogs For Life, Inc. is Hosting an Assistance Dog Presentation At the United Way on November 10, 2009 at 7 PM
Dogs for Life, Inc. (DFL) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to the community is hosting a Assistance Dog Presentation at the United Way, 1836 14 th Avenue on November 10, at 7 PM.
The event is free and should be attended by anyone wanting to know how Assistance Dogs are trained; if your dog may qualify to be trained as an assistance dog and business owners who would like to know how assistance dogs may affect their business. Assistant State Attorney Chris Taylor will outline the laws pertaining to assistance dogs and the penalties for interfering with an assistance animal.
DFL Assistance Dog Teams will be present to tell how their assistance dog work for them and answer questions.
