Last holiday season, Dale Sorensen Real Estate forged a relationship with Fellsmere Elementary School that lives on!

Recently, Ruth "Chickie" Pagliaro in the A-1-A DSRE office had the idea to take up a collection for school supplies for the school children at Fellsmere, and so she called Pat Mays in the Cardinal Drive DSRE office. Turns out Pat had just had the same idea, and was going to give Chickie a call about it. The ladies organized a breakfast for the entire staff of DSRE, gave them donuts, juice and coffee, and announced they were collecting for school supplies for Fellsmere Elementary students.

"As soon as our staff found out it was for school supplies for Fellsmere Elementary, the flood gates opened!"

The group raised $1000 that morning, and Chickie and Pat selected and purchased the supplies.

"Next time we are going to start earlier to beat the back-to-school rush of the crowds," laughs Chickie.

Despite the competition at the stores, the ladies purchased two car loads of supplies, and Bill Baysura, another volunteer from DSRE, delivered the supplies to the school.
