Norris & Company Soars as Corporate Eagle Members

Gena Grove and Jane Schwiering, Co-owners/Brokers of Norris & Company Real Estate, recently announced their status as Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) Foundation's Corporate Eagle Society members.

Marking the occasion, the Norris & Company co-owners visited IRMC's state-of-the-art Emergency Department, which was constructed through $15 million in philanthropic gifts from the community to the IRMC Foundation.

"Indian River Medical Center contributes significantly to the quality of life in our community," explained Jane Schwiering. "Our gifts to the Foundation's 21st Century Campaign for Indian River Medical Center support their ongoing mission to transform our hospital into a community medical center of excellence."

"We understand that through our support we make a difference in the lives of the patients and to the future of the medical center and we encourage others to support this important community asset."

The Eagle Society recognizes Norris & Company for their commitment to quality healthcare through ongoing support of IRMC. Companies achieve Corporate Eagle status when they reach over a $10,000 level of giving, commensurate with the guidelines of the Corporate Eagle program. Norris & Company's history of support through sponsorships totals over $20,000.

In addition to capital improvements, the IRMC Foundation also fully funds the Patient Advocate Program. Patient Advocates are on duty continuously in the Emergency Department to serve as liaisons between patients and healthcare providers and help patients and their families with their non-clinical needs.
