Seacoast Named 2009 Best Places to Work

Seacoast National Bank was recently recognized by Workforce Solutions, as one of the "Best Places to Work" in Indian River County. With an 83-year history, Seacoast National Bank has been recognized numerous times for corporate philanthropy including employees' volunteerism, leadership and overall spirit of community.

"This award is a reflection of our mission to be the premiere financial services organization in the communities we serve. This is an honor we are all be proud of,"
explained Tom Wilkinson, President of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County, Seacoast National Bank. "Our employees are our most valuable asset and the high level of personal, professional service they provide is what truly sets us apart from our competition."

Twenty-two Indian River County companies participated in the nominations and Seacoast earned the top spot among companies with 50 or more employees. The bank was recognized for its strong mix of educational and leadership training opportunities with excellent benefits and retirement savings programs. In addition, Seacoast was applauded for having a corporate culture that encourages and allows time for community involvement.

Best Places to Work is a national program that was developed to provide a confidential forum for local employers to participate in an evaluation of various workplace best practices and programs. The report serves as a tool for Human Resource planning as well as for staff recruitment and retention.

Seacoast National Bank has 41 offices in Florida and approximately $2.3 billion in assets, and is one of the largest independent banks headquartered in Florida.
