Story

sipping senoritas
Contributed by: M Runnels on 8/17/2008

I live a duel life
in a field of pain
in search of innocence
I'm immortal and in shame

I shelter all my hurt
inside where I can hide
the truth about my life
and the place where I had died

I walk the streets at night
to pass the time away
sipping senoritas
and sleeping through the day

Sipping senoritas
its what I lied for
I can't stop at one 'cause
I want more, more, more

Sipping senoritas
what did I die for
I can't stop the hunger 'cause
I want more...

Chilly in December
on Colorado's peak
the longer I ignore the pain
the more that I feel weak

Before I hid from sunlight
now I hide at night
men from nearby villages
have orders to shoot on sight

I can't ignore the hunger
I'm a preditor inside
I won't cower like a child
I must fight to save my pride

Sipping senoritas
what did I die for
I can't stop the hunger 'cause
I want more, more, more

Sipping senoritas
wait, someone sipped on me
what am I now
and what am I to be?
