Regency Park, an active senior resort community in Vero Beach, has partnered with the Lifelong Learning program of Florida Atlantic University to offer several courses. The programs are open to the general public and will be held in the Regency Park Theatre, located at 910 Regency Square.
"Creating a Journal as Memorable as Your Travels" will be held 10:00 am - 11:45 am on Tuesdays, October 28, November 4, November 18 and December 2. "Short Stories and Films Adaptations" will be offered 12:45 - 2:30 on Wednesdays, November 5, 12, 19 and December 3. Cost for the courses is $45 for Lifelong Learning Society members and $55 for non-members (plus the cost of a recommended book at $16.00).
"Our non-credit, university level courses, lectures and events are known to promote the health of mind, body and spirit, and can enhance students' overall quality of life, no matter their age," commented Derek Gisburne, FAU Lifelong Learning Coordinator when asked about the benefits of the program.
