September Computer Classes
Adult Education has a great selection of computer classes this fall. Classes include Introduction, Introduction & Windows XP, Internet, Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Intermediate Excel, Creating DVD Picture Disc, Producing a Video for the Internet or DVD, Digital Camera, Intermediate Digital Camera, Access, Web Page Design, Publisher, E-Commerce and EBay. Please visit the Adult Education office to register and ask about our Microsoft Specialist classes.
CDL Class
Beginning September 8, students will be able to take a Commercial Drivers License Program with Adult Education. After successful completion, and passing of required testing, students will be able to apply for their CDL. Please call 564-4970 for additional information or visit the office to register.
September Life-Enrichment Classes
Adult Education will have a variety of life-enrichment classes available that include Art (watercolor), Cooking, Crochet, Glass Jewelry (Pendant), Investing Fundamentals, Motorcycle Safety, Precious Metal Clay (Pendant and Broach), Digital Camera, and others. Many of these classes fill up quickly; register now at the Adult Education School office.
Accounting and E-Business Program
Adult and Community Education would like to help you achieve your goal if you are interested in the accounting or electronic business field. This 150- hour program is a comprehensive program preparing the student for employment in an office setting by teaching computer skills, understanding of emerging technology, professional standards, and many other required skills. Students will be introduced to a software suite that includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and QuickBooks. Students will attend class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 4 and running until Nov. 20 and interested persons can register at the Adult Education School office.
Free GED Classes
Do your dreams involve obtaining your high school diploma? If you answered yes, Adult Education can help. We offer free GED preparation classes. The classes are set up so that students can work at their own pace in a small, comfortable, and quiet setting. GED classes are available at the Adult Education School in Vero and at Sebastian River High School. Please call 564-4970 for more information including hours of operation, and allow Adult Education to assist you in earning your high school diploma and making your dream a reality.
