Constitution Day at Master's Academy
Contributed by: Debbie Morgan on 9/23/2009

Students participated in the annual Constitution Day in observance of America's Constitution which was signed September 17,1787. Just as our forefathers sought and established the laws in which to be governed as a nation, students established a classroom constitution by which they will be self governed in order to form their own perfect union among classmates and teachers. The Christian Principle of Self-Government is identified and taught in every subject and is acknowledged that it begins with each individual, and then extends to the home, church, and community. Grammar school students signed their Constitutions and celebrated the event with cake, while upper school students had apple pie to celebrate their Constitution. This event recognizes the established authority of leadership at the school and the Christian character development of each student as participating members of God's instructional plan at Master's Academy.
