"Teach Me How to Get the Money"

Workshop Instructs Teachers on the Basics of Grant Writing

The Education Foundation of Indian River County will be offering a special grant workshop for all public and private primary and secondary teachers called, "Teach Me How to Get the Money" on Friday, October 16th at the Eagle's Nest in the Alternative Center from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

This special workshop provides teachers the information they need to apply for a Great Ideas! Grant from the Education Foundation of Indian River County. The presentation explains the Foundation's process for applying for a grant. The informational session also covers the basics of good grant writing. In addition, tips and resources will be provided to expand teacher's skills.

Space is limited and reservations are required. All School District of Indian River County teachers may register by visiting the Staff Development page on the SDIRC website: www.indianriverschools.org. All private school teachers may register by calling the Foundation Office: (772) 564-0034 or my email: director@edfoundationirc.org.

The Education Foundation's Great Ideas! Grant program offers a variety of funding opportunities for public and private, primary and secondary schools in Indian River County. Last year more than $100,000 was infused into Indian River County schools.
