Welcome to Friendly Kid Town at the Willow School

The Willow School's K-3 classroom has been working hard in creating their own town from the ground up. The students first came of with a name of Friendly Kid Town and then they decided which stores they would like to have in their town. They then created homes to live in, shops to run and items to sell in the shops. These three dimensional buildings were constructed from recycled food containers and items around our school. The students earn paychecks based on their behavior and work they do in class to be able to spend their money at the shops in Friendly Kid Town. As a class, we also have been visiting local stores to get ideas on how to make our town better. The latest thing the students have been working on is building vehicles to get around town in and laws that make our town safer.
