Up, Up, and A-Willow

Science classes are soaring at The Willow School as the fourth through eighth grades are finishing a fun filled unit on flight and rocketry. In this unit the students have learned about the principles that make air travel possible. Among these principles they have learned about air pressure and its affects on the wings of a plane or the angle of a kite. The students have explored different types of flying machines from hot air balloons and parachutes to jets and helicopters. Meanwhile the students are learning the basics of the scientific method and correct ways of doing experiments.
