Adult Education offers many fun and interesting classes for students. Upcoming November classes include: Art Workshop, Climate Change and Alternative Energy, Digital Camera, Conversational Italian, Basic Sewing, Spanish, Stained Glass and Tai Chi. Computer Classes

Would you like to be more comfortable using your computer programs? Adult Education can help you! We will be offering a wide selection of classes including: Introduction, Introduction and Windows XP, Introduction and Windows Vista, Internet, Email, Windows Vista, Word, Intermediate Word, Intermediate Excel, Intermediate QuickBooks, PowerPoint, EBay, Digital Camera, Web Page Design and Computer Maintenance and Security. Home Health Aide Program

Are you looking to have a new career by the New Year? If you are interested in working as a HHA, Adult Education has the training you need. We will offer a fast-paced HHA class running from Nov. 30 - Dec. 18; students will attend class Monday - Friday from 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. The cost for this 100-hour class is $382.00 and students are encouraged to register now as space is limited for this program.

Phlebotomy Program

If you are working as a Phlebotomist or are interested in adding it to your skill set and are already in the medical field, Adult Education has the training for you. We will offer a 65-hour Phlebotomy class running from Jan. 12 - Feb. 23 rd. Students will attend class on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The cost for this class is $214.00 and students can register now at the Adult Education School office.

Basic Floral Design

Adult Education is pleased to offer a Basic Floral Design Class right in time for the holidays. Class will be held on Mondays, Nov. 2 - Dec. 14, from 6 - 9 p.m. Students will learn a variety of skills that will make arranging fresh and silk flowers a joy! The cost for this 18-hour class is $64.00; please call 564-4970 to register.

Medical Coding Program

For those students who have been anxiously awaiting the next Medical Coding class, it is here! Class will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. beginning Feb. 17, and running through June 9 th. This is a fast paced class that will require much time and commitment. For those students who are up for the challenge, you may register now at the Adult Education office.

Gift certificates are available. Adult Education, a division of the Indian River County School District, is at 1426 19 th St., downtown Vero Beach.
