These young people have excelled academically, held leadership positions in band, orchestra, drama and athletics and have collectively contributed hundreds of hours of community service to local organizations.

Our Savior Lutheran Church awards scholarships to young people in appreciation for their being an active part of the life and ministry of the Church. These scholarship awards help young people remember their roots and their faith in God, and assists them in developing the gifts that God has bestowed upon each of them. Church members contribute to the Scholarship Fund and Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as well as Men in Mission hold fund raising events throughout the year to fund scholarships for church youth members. Awards, which are based upon merit, not financial need, ranged from $250 to $1,500.

The Our Savior Lutheran Church Youth Group is an active part of the Church's ministry, and is staffed by Youth Minister, Jimmy Smith, under the direction of Associate Pastor Shelly Satran and Pastor Jack Diehl.
