The faculty, administration, students, and guests of Master's Academy celebrated Liberty Day in an annual ceremony held the last day of school. The celebration is an outward expression of the school's commitment to Jesus Christ-the Focal Point of History-in which we celebrate the Liberty that He has provided for us to enjoy in our homes, school, church, and nation. This patriotic event memorializes God's Hand of Providence in the foundation of America and reinforces the Christian virtues which our students are taught in the Biblically-based curriculum of Master's Academy.
Guest speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Myer of the Florida Army National Guard addressed the great opportunity of our youth to fulfill God's calling to serve the citizens of Florida and the United States of America. In doing so, their Christian service can be utilized as they serve next to their fellow men and women for the safety and preservation of their communities and nation.
Performances by the middle school chorus, band, grammar school students and upper school drama team enhanced the celebration. All veterans and military personnel in attendance were recognized for their service to our country.
