BRUCE FRASER OF IRSC RECEIVES A 2009 AWARD FOR INNOVATIVE EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING, LEARNING, AND TECHNOLOGY
Bruce Fraser, Ph.D., Humanities Professor at Indian River State College, recently received a 2009 Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology at the 20th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The award honors the contributions of experienced full-time faculty who have contributed in the most highly creative ways to teaching, learning, and technology at colleges and universities throughout the nation.
A seven-year employee of the College, Dr. Fraser is presently serving in the Communications and Social Sciences Division at the College and is also an active member of the Center for Academic Innovation Workgroup, EDGE Workgroup, Honors Workgroup, and the Institutional Technology Workgroup/LLTT. The Vero Beach resident earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University, a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Boston University, and a Doctorate in Philosophy from Boston University in 2001.
