Students take home Photography awards at Museum

Home School students in Digital Photography class recently took home awards at the Vero Beach Museum of Art Student Exhibition and Competition. The competition includes all of the public and private schools in the county, in addition to home school students. Students have met weekly at First Church of God, and practiced their craft since the Fall.

Three Indian River Home School Association students took home four awards in the Photography/Mixed Media Category. This represents half of the awards for the Photography/Mixed Media category. In the Middle School Division, Nathan Martinelli won First Place and Best in Show. In the High School Division, Blake Relick won First Place, and Casey Seese won Third Place. Also exhibiting for the Middle School Division were Kaylee Hennessey, Ben Ostman, and Max Bosco. In the High School Division, Angie McAdam, and Evan Schmidt also exhibited.
