Natalie Wolff Qualifies for STATE Competition!
Contributed by: Brenda Davis on 5/7/2009

(Vero Beach, FL), May 6, 2009 - Natalie Wolff did it again! Natalie won first place in the Association of Florida Conservation District's (AFCD) Area VI Public Speaking Contest. The Area VI contest was held on May 5th at the Okeechobee Soil and Water Conservation District Office. The topic for this year's contest was "What is one of the many land uses in Florida?"

Natalie is currently a junior at Sebastian River High School. Her speech focused on agriculture and covered several important topics including cover crops, conservation, and farming economics. In April, Natalie won first place in the local Indian River Soil and Water Conservation District's public speaking contest qualifying her to compete at the Area level. Her delivery has been nearly flawless in each competition and her ability to incorporate humor and personality along with facts and statistics, truly captures the attention of everyone in the audience.

Natalie has now earned the right to compete at the State level of competition. The State competition will be held during the Annual AFCD Conference in Jacksonville on August 8th, 2009.
