Vero Beach & St. Eds Math Teams Place at Nationals

Knoxville, Tennessee was the site for the National Math Convention held July 19 - 24th. Fifty schools from across the nation and South Korea had over 600 high school students compete. Local winners are:

INDIVIDUAL:
GRACE ATHERTON(VBHS), 11th in Equations and Inequalities
NICOLE GAGNON(VBHS), 9th in Chalk Talk
HANNAH KEILER(VBHS), 9th in Statistics and 11th in Complex Numbers
FRED OUELETT(VBHS), 3rd in Alpha Logs
HANISHA PATEL(VBHS), 6th in Matrices
VISHAL PATEL(VBHS), 12th in Theta Logs
ASHLEY VILLAR(VBHS), 7th in Discrete Math and 11th in Combinations
ERIC WILLETT(SES), 4th in Analytic Geometry, 8th in Alpha Logs, and 12th in Conics

TEAM:
DANIEL BOLING(VBHS) & ERIC WILLETT, 4th in Gemini

Next season kicks off January 16 with Vero Beach High School hosting the State Invitational.
