Katherine Bailey honored
Contributed by: Debbie Morgan on 11/3/2008

The Lady Patriots Varsity Volleyball team of Master's Academy finished their second season of high school competition with an improved record of 4-20. The season culminated with the girls' first appearance in a state series district tournament held at The Pine School in Hobe Sound. The team combined for a cumulative un-weighted 3.677 GPA and is in the running for the FHSAA's Academic Team Champion award.

Lone senior and team captain Katherine Bailey was honored during her final home game of the season on October 16, 2008, as the Patriots hosted Berean Christian School. Katherine was given a rose and a volleyball signed by her teammates and coaches. Katherine Bailey finished the season with 24 Aces, 22 Kills and 6 Blocks. Katherine Bailey's academic, athletic and spiritual leadership on and off the court has been a crucial element to the team's cohesive bond.
