Vero Beach would like to welcome 10 year old 5th grader Jamie Keithahn. Jamie moved from CA to FL just in time to begin schoolthis September at Master's Academy. He has maintained straight A's (mostly A+'s) in all his classes including 6th grade math and Latin. Jamie has represented Master's Academy this year in the Christian Schools regional Spelling Bee and Math Olympics. Jamie scored so high in the Math Olympics he won first place with honors. His success is not limited to the classroom, but includes sports as well. Jamie was drafted up by the VBNLL to the majors. He has also been chosen as a 10 year old All Star. He will be competing in the Tournament of Champions later this month.
Jamie's favorite class is math. His favorite thing about school is being in class with his twin cousins. He enjoys baseball, hockey, wakeboarding, reading, piano and Xbox. He hopes to be a professional athlete when he grows up; if that doesn't work he is hoping to be an astronaut. Jamie "can't wait to start Jr. High"
If anyone deserves academic recognition, it's Jamie Keithahn! His parents, Tim and Kimberly Keithahn are very proud of him!
