Kidsare invited to spend a week or more their of summer vacation at this year's
Summer Art Camp. The camp offers kids ages 3 to 15 years, a variety of creative learning experiences, including old favorites and many new innovative offerings. Try ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, even creative yoga! Plus so much more. This summer's schedule includes eight one-week sessions with over 60 classes taught by 17 professional artists/educators. Young people will benefit from the creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills gained through the exposure to art. Previous art instruction is not required for enrollment, only a desire to learn and have fun. Classes are grouped for 3-5, 6-8, 9-11, and 12-15 year olds.

This year's weekly sessions begin on Monday, June 15 and continue weekly through August 7, 2009. Sessions will be held Monday through Friday for one week each, with half day class periods scheduled for either mornings from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm or afternoons from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Preschool classes for ages 3 to 5 years will be held in the morning only. An optional supervised lunch break and AM pre-camp care (8:30- 9:30 am) will be available for students ages 6 to 15 years for an additional charge for the service needed.
Each half-day tuition for morning or afternoon classes is $90 ($80 for museum members) and each session's supervised one-hour lunch break or AM student supervision is an additional $25 ($20 for museum members).
