The Indian River County Firefighters' Fair will be Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 22 at 7955 58th Avenue in Vero Beach.
Popular attractions and shows returning for the second year include The Firefighter Training Show, sponsored by Wachovia Bank; "Cowtown", sponsored by the Press Journal; Demolition Derby and Mini Car Heat, sponsored by Mike's Towing & Firehouse Garage; and the Jon Simon "Comedy Hypnosis Show", appearing on the Breeze FM Entertainment Stage. As always, the Indian River County Youth 4-H Clubs and their projects will be on display in the Livestock Pavilion.
New shows planned for this year include Flat Track "Quad Races" and "Marcus Magic" Illusion & Comedy Show.
The Exhibit Hall will again be open and will showcase local businesses and organizations. New this year will be a visitor rest area within the hall, open to fair attendees and exhibitors for rest and relaxation.
The Firefighters' Fair is a nonprofit organization. All proceeds from the fair benefit the Indian River County Burn Fund, local scholarships, fairground improvements and other charitable organizations.
Hours will be Monday - Friday 5:00 p.m. - midnight; Saturday 1:00 p.m. - midnight; and Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Admission remains $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 6 to 12. Children 5 and under are free. Parking is free.
