RCT Receives Awards

Riverside Children's Theatre is pleased to announce that it has received two awards from the National Youth Theatre for its SummerStage 2007 production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." The cast received Outstanding Ensemble and Jamie Jones of Vero Beach received Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical for his role of Pharoh.

The National Youth Theatre is an organization that promotes interest and visibility of youth theatre events throughout the U.S. This past year over 170 productions in 90 different theatres spanning 23 states were reviewed by the NYT.

Jones as well as many of the cast members of "Joseph" are currently appearing in the 2008 SummerStage show, "Hot Mikado" that runs through July 27 at the Riverside Theatre.
