Casting Announced for "Sideways Stories"

Director Kevin Quillinan announces that casting is complete for Riverside Children's Theatre's first show of the school year, 'Sideways Stories from Wayside School." The play is adapted from the popular children's series by Louis Sachar. A fictional school based on the author's experience as a teacher, Wayside School is a teetering tower built 30 stories high with one classroom on each floor and no 19th story. The quirky students and teachers that populate the school make for a very funny show.

Cast members are Jenni Karabensh, Delaney Polk, Ella Merrill, Megan Taylor Callahan, Nate Karabensh, Jeffrey Liguori, Ryan Lambert, Dana Wuycheck, Kimmy Zerega, Stephen Wursta, Shannon Maloney and Philip Brown. Assistant Stage Managers are Nicole Borisenko, Amanda Reinhart, Theo Blumstein and Aryeh Pollack. The show is made possible through the generosity of the Shoemate Foundation. It is recommented for family members, ages 6 and up.

Show dates and times are Sept 26 and Oct. 3 at 7 p.m., Sept. 27, 28, Oct. 4 and 5 at 1:30 p.m. and Oct. 3 at 10:00 a.m. Performances take place at the Anne Morton Theatre, 3280 Riverside Park Drive, Vero Beach. Tickets are $8 with discounts available for groups of 20 or more. They may be purchased by calling the box office at 800-445-6745 or 772-231-6990.
