Contributed by: Joyce Levi on 11/13/2006

At 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, Dr. Jay Wolff will be presented at the Emerson Center, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Dr. Wolff is a historian, spellbinding story teller, and well-loved cruise ship raconteur, and he will tell the story of Charles Darwin's early life, his early scientific work, the social and cultural background of Darwin's time, and his adventures aboard the HMS Beagle in South America when scientists were cataloging the natural world.

There is open seating and an admission charge of $15. Unaccompanied young people through high school age may purchase tickets at half-price -- $7.50. If accompanied by a parent, there will be no admission charge for middle school and high school students.

The UU Fellowship is located on the southeast corner of 16th Street and 27th Avenue.
