Special Event
On Saturday, August 2, the VNA Mobile Unit will be closed for sick care, as it will be stationed at Wabasso Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. providing free school physicals for Indian River County children as part of the "Wabasso Back to School Jam." In order for a child to receive a physical, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them and must provide a valid photo ID including a current address. Guardians should bring proof of legal guardianship.

About the Mobile Unit
The VNA Mobile Unit offers a variety of healthcare services for Indian River County residents. The staff provides care--such as tetanus shots and treatment for minor cuts, bruises, infections and other non-emergency care--free of charge for sick patients without health insurance. Wellness care--such as physicals, immunization boosters and health screenings--is also available as a convenience for any Indian River County resident for a nominal fee. Care is provided on a first-come, first-served basis; however, sick patients are given priority over those needing wellness care. For children to receive care, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information about VNA Mobile Unit services, please call 772.567.5551 or visit www.vnatc.com.
