Once again Trinity's own "angels" opened their hearts and wallets to lend support to Trinity Church's 2007 Angel Tree program.
The Angel Tree attempts to bring some sunshine into the lives of those less fortunate at Christmas time. The program provides much needed clothing items, special-needs gifts, and other wished-for toys to Indian River County's neediest people.
More than 380 gifts were provided to six agencies as well as Trinity's own Outreach ministry to distribute to needy children and adults. The agencies we blessed included: St. Helen's Head Start, Our Father's Table, Samaritan Center, T.A.P.P. V.B.H.S., Youth Guidance of I.R.C., and VNA Hospice.
For more information on Trinity's Outreach Ministry, please contact Father Robert K. Stull, Jr. at the Church office at (772) 567-1146.
Trinity Episcopal Church began as a mission of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Fort Pierce. By following His Word and Spirit while honoring the traditions of Anglican Christianity, Trinity members vow to worship the Lord, love one another, and serve God and His people thereby leading others into fellowship with Jesus Christ and His Church by nurturing their spiritual growth.
Trinity's first service was held October 24, 1926 at the Women's Club Building in Vero Beach. Today, Trinity is a 1,200 member Church that underwent a multi-million dollar building project in 2005 resulting in a larger church, new music facilities, new youth facilities, and an enlarged memorial garden and columbarium.
