You go girl! - Proud American Women

Am I proud to be an american? The answer is yes, but to clearly define why there are so many choices. For me it's about freedoms. Freedom to vote, worship, work, think, speak and more. As a women, I am especially proud to be an american because of the opportunities and choices we have compared to what women of other countries must face. The indignities they suffer and the smart women all over the world who can't share their talents or intelligence makes me grateful to call the USA home. I can dress the way I want, not having to cover my body from head to toe. I can work at a job of my choosing, be married to (or not) a husband of my choice, go to college, let alone be able to just go to school at all. I can vote, and serve my country. We have a beautiful country and even though we may not always agree with each other, truth be told, we are United and will stand together so we will not fall.
