True spirit of Labor Day found in everyday jobs

Labor Day is Sept. 3, and this particular holiday made me think about the true spirit of this holiday and what I would say if I could enter the YourHub.com contest.

Of course, I would enter my husband, Alan. Afterall, he and his co-workers at AT&T work diligently no matter what the weather - in the rain, the heat and of course, the two weeks a year when temperatures dip.

He climbs poles.

He crawls through attics.

All so the services we take for granted can still be in working order.

Do you know a special someone that deserves our recognition - and to rest from their "labors" in the work-a-day world?

Post your story and photo and your Labor Day entrant might win a holiday barbecue feast - with all the trimmings - for you and 20 of your friends.
