IRC VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) is a humanitarian association of 40 organizations in Indian River County (nonprofit, faith based or governmental) that will deliver resources to people in crisis following a hurricane, tornado, or man-made disaster, with the help of volunteers from the community. Of course we don't wish for any disasters in our county but we need to be ready, just in case. If would like to volunteer and assist VOAD organizations in their delivery of resources, please sign up now by contacting Eve Ballance at United Way IRC, (772)567-8900 ext. 20., or go to the VOAD website
www.ircvoad.org for more information or to print out an application form. Thank you for your willingness to help.
