Vero Lake Estates "Yard of the Month"

The Vero Lake Estates Property Owners awarded their first "Yard of the Month" award at their meeting Monday, May 18, 2009 at the North County Library, Sebastian.

The members of VLEPO nominate a yard and a committee of 6 residents view all nominated yards and choose the winner; determine by a prequalified criteria. The winner received a $26.00 gift certificate from Busy Bee Nursery.

The "Yard of the Month" for May goes to the Vanderwiede family at 9535 78th St. in Vero Lake Estates.

Vero Lake Estates is one of the largest and one of the oldest subdivisions in Indian River County, but slower to develop because of it's rural location at the time of development. VLE has a diverse population; a variety of lot sizes and a variety of home styles. With the downturn in the economy the VLEPO hope to keep the subdivision and surrounding areas a nice, safe area for our families to live, work and play.
