Ruth Bescherer Truex celebrated her 104th birthday with her daughter Nancy Cluthe and grandson Gordon Cluthe at Baptist Retirement Home on June 14.
Truex resides at the Vero Beach retirement home and was surrounded by family and friends for the occasion.
Truex has resided in Florida for 19 years. She was born in Montclair, N.J. and settled in Verona, N.J. before moving to Florida. She has six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Daughter Nancy Cluthe is a resident of Vero Beach. She has a daughter, Ann Dickinson, who resides in Sarasota.
