Five generations and still going on strong.
My grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Landry, my mother's mother, is a strong woman. She has had a heart attack, a pace maker, a stint, calcium build up removed from her neck, kidney failure, mini strokes, two fractured bones in her back, and she is still going!! She will be 86 years of age on December 3rd, 2008. She was born in 1923 and lives in Centreville, Virginia.
My mom, Donna Jean Koehler, had Scarlet Fever when she was a small child. She had pneumonia in her adult life, and she is still going strong. My mom was born in 1940 and lives in Vero Beach, Florida.
I, Constance (Connie) Faith Koehler, was born in 1958. In the 1990's I was stricken with a fever that lasted for 14 days. My dad nursed me back to health. We never found what caused the fever or the type of fever it was. In 2006-2007 I fought Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Large B Cell Cancer. I'm still going strong. I live in Vero Beach, Florida.
My children, Chad Eric Koehler born in 1980, and Todd Jacob Jenkins born in 1982, gave my mom, my grandmother, and me two grandchildren. They live in Vero Beach, Florida.
Chad, my oldest son, has a son, Christain Eric Koehler, who will be eight years of age 2008. He lives in Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, Florida.
Todd, my youngest son, has a daughter, Kloey Nicole Jenkins, who will be two in 2009. She lives in Vero Beach, Florida.
Hopefully, I'm as fortunate as my mother and grandmother to live long enough to enjoy my great grandchildren as much as I'm enjoying my grandchildren now.
