Spread the Word, Public Relations for Non-Profit Organizations celebrates their sixth anniversary on February 25. An exciting milestone for all small businesses, when the current economic situation and the fact this company works exclusively with churches and nonprofit organizations are taken into consideration, Brenda French is thrilled to still be "spreading the word."
Brenda opened the company in 2003 to assist churches and nonprofit organizations in keeping the community informed about their special programs, services, and needs through public service campaigns. She comments, "I owe special thanks to the churches & organizations that have trusted me to submit their information and all the people in the media for passing the information on to the community through their publications, radio & television programs, and websites."
She loves what she does. It is her feeling that local churches and nonprofit organizations do wonderful things for the community; they offer youth programs and senior activities; they feed the hungry and bring national & international speakers and entertainment to the area; they assist those in need and so much more. In today's world it is even more important to keep the community informed of not only their special programs and services but also their needs so that those willing and able to help can give them assistance. Through Spread the Word, she is able to sit down with the people that make these things happen and forward the details to the local media. Brenda states, "The media may have a steady stream of bad news bombarding them, but they are wonderful about including these events & special services in their community calendars and often expanding the coverage with interviews, articles, and photos."
As the company begins its seventh year, Brenda looks forward to assisting even more churches & nonprofits in the years to come! For additional information about Spread the Word Public Relations for Non-Profit Organizations visit www.spreadthewordpr.com or call Brenda French, 772-563-0304.
