WHAT A LOVELY WAY TO SPEND AN EVENING! WHAT A LOVELY WAY TO END A SEASON!

Treasure Coast Navy Leaguers concluded the 2006-2007 season by kicking up their heels to the music of the Len Bentley Duo on May 10th. Favorite dance tunes before, during and after a delectable dinner were enjoyed when everyone showed their twinkle toes and member, Jeanne Doran, entertained with her rendition of "La Vie en Rose" and other classic love songs. From the 50-50 raffle, winners Dietrich Ahnert and Venetta Beckman, donated their winnings to the Navy League's NJROTC scholarship fund and more dollars were added from the sale of Huguette Guilbault's table decorations.

Before saying farewell to those present, Rear Admiral R.G. Guilbault USN (retired), Council president, announced that the 2007-2008 dinner meetings will begin on September 13, 2007 with guest speaker, Dr. Richard Steinfeld from the Orthopaedic Center of Vero Beach. A former Navy flight surgeon, Dr Steinfeld was head of Aviation Medicine at the Naval Air Station Key West.
