Another successful quarterly meeting was held in Clearwater. It was hosted by Post 8 of Hudson. A total of 85 people consisting of members of Post 8, Post 4 and Post 3 attended.

The Auxiliary nominating committee announced the slate for the coming year. Sally Malena will remain as State Aux. President; Josephine Pecere (Post 3 Aux. Pres.), Sr. Vice President; and Nelly Lombardi (Post8 Aux. Pres.), Jr. Vice President.

The State Convention, will be held on Sept. 26, 27, and 28, in Deland, Fl. Last year was my first time at a State Convention. It was a memorable occasion. Eleven members from Post 3 attended last year. We hope to either match that number or surpass it. Economics being what they are, this may not be possible. The National Convention was discussed. It will be in Cleveland, Ohio in August. Joe Martarano will be attending.

Post 8 members worked with the Auxiliary to prepare wonderful meals for our luncheons. The dinners were catered, and our choices were excellent. This quarterly will make it difficult to beat. But, it will be so much fun trying.
