LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHERS TAKE PART IN WORLD PHOTO WALK

On Saturday, July 18th, over 32,000 amateur and professional photographers in 900 cities all around the world participated in the Second Annual Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk. Chosen to lead the Photo Walk in Vero Beach was professional photographer J. Scott Kelly, owner of Island Images Professional Photography Studio, Inc., founder of Adventure Photography and Photo Walks of Vero Beach, and co-owner and photography director of Southeast Gallery of Photographic Art.

Fifty photographers from the surrounding area converged along Ocean Drive in Vero Beach at sunrise to capture amazing images of our little slice of paradise. After the morning's photography session, everyone gathered at Mulligan's for breakfast to share their experience and their images.

Now comes the hard part, each participant in the walk must choose two of their best images to submit for judging. The leader in each city then selects the best image from their photo walk to enter in the worldwide competition. Winners will then be chosen by the Kelby Media Group.
