The Pro Bono Committee of the Indian River County Bar Association announces its Quarterly Ask a Lawyer Program to be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Law Library in the Indian River County Courthouse, 2000 16
th Street, Vero Beach.
During this program, general practice and litigation attorneys will be on hand to field questions concerning general legal issues. Additionally, as part of the day-long event, local family law attorneys will be on site to offer advice on family law matters including divorce, child support/timesharing, paternity, and alimony. The family law clinic will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Law Library of the Indian River County Courthouse
This event will also include a Will Assistance Clinic to help those in the community who are in need of a Last Will and Testament, Living Will, or Designation of Health Care Surrogate. Local estate planning attorneys will be available to assist the public in the preparation of these basic estate planning documents, and to offer guidance with estate planning needs at no cost. The Will Assistance Clinic will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Jury Selection Room at the Indian River County Courthouse.
