The City of Vero Beach Team with the Hibiscus Festival for 2009 Event


The City of Vero Beach unanimously approved their participation as the Presenting Sponsors of the 2009 Hibiscus Festival voted at their meeting held on October 7. The historic city-wide celebration, which ran from 1953 to 1963 and reinstituted in 2004, will be held on April 17 and 18 th in downtown Vero Beach.

Attending the City Council meeting were Hibiscus Festival representatives Spencer Porteous, Robert Votaw, Milt Thomas, Beverly Parisand Maria Kovachev. City Council members include Sabe Abell, Mayor Tom White, Debra Fromang, Ken Daige and Bill Fish.
