COUPLE THAT SERVES THE COMMUNITY NEEDS SUPPORT

Laura and Jeff Saputo are both Deputies at the Indian River County Sheriff's Office and parents of twin 3 ½ year old boys. Earlier this year, their son Vincent was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. This is a highly malignant, but very treatable form of cancer. Treatment consists of a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Baby Vincent has already endured several procedures and is scheduled for more treatments in the upcoming months.

In order to aid the family in the cost of medical expenses, an account has been established at Space Coast Credit Union in Vincent's name entitled "Seaturtle Savings Account". There are 3 locations in Indian River County where donations may be brought. Anyone may donate money into this account. Money may also be donated anonymously. The account # is 514471 and is in the name of Vincent Saputo. Donors will be issued a hand written receipt by employees at Space Coast Credit Union.

A fundraiser is also is being held to help the family with Vincent's medical needs. The Southern Justice Motorcycle Club and Eagler Riders Joint Poker Run is scheduled on February 24th starting at Eagles Post#4374 running from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please contact John Cronenberg at 774-9040 for more details.
