"Stomp Out Child Abuse" with CASTLE - August 23,
2-9 PM, Veteran's Park, Fort Pierce
Mark you calendars now and reserve this date. You can run, walk, and enjoy the food and beverages. Come and listen to the sounds of the Fort Pierce "Coffee Beans" and the "Brad Brock" Rock Band for an afternoon and evening of fun and entertainment while supporting the prevention of child abuse.
The "Memory Field" will be front and center at this year's festival, each of the 170 flags memorializing the death of a child resulting from child abuse and neglect. Several levels of flag sponsorships are available, so that you can pay tribute to the children who lost their lives due to child abuse:
$10 Memorial Ribbons
$100 Memorial Sponsorship Flags
$1000 Memory Field Underwriting
The Festival begins at 2:00 PM with a special dedication of the Memory Field. The 5K run begins at 6:00 PM. Join
Honorary Chairwoman Jana Eschbach from CBS TV 12 in the exciting evening run, or join the 2.5K walk at 7:00 PM.
We are delighted to report that over 20 teams of walkers have already signed up. Many teams are preparing to provide either food or entertainment to the festival, underscoring their dedication to the cause of child abuse prevention. In the words of one of the team members from GlobalMind's "Island Time" team, Kelly Simcich, "GlobalMind believes strongly in building a stronger community, which is why our employees decided to participate in CASTLE's STOMP festival. The STOMP festival is a fun, family oriented festival that directly benefits CASTLE and it is an event that would not only include all of our employees, but their families as well."
The event is presented by QVC. The premier sponsor is Communications International, Inc. with Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers as the lead media sponsor.
Sponsored by: Treasure & Space Coast Radio, Landshark Lager, 180, La Voz, Seacoast National Bank, First People's Bank, Nelson Family Farms, PBC Credit Union, Bonnie Brown-Boucher, Rotary Club of Fort Pierce, Dragonfly Graphics and Kinane Corporation Commercial Printing.
