Kids Helping Kids - Photogenic Contest

Island Images Professional Photography Studio, Inc. is holding a photogenic contest for infants and children between the ages of three months to twelve years on Saturday, September 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Oceanside in Vero Beach. A $25.00 donation to Children's Miracle Network enters each child/teen into contest and provides each contestant with a "mini" photo session with Photographer J. Scott Kelly, a 5x7 "best pose photo" and a gift bag. Winners will be judged from the event photographs. One boy and one girl will be selected from each of the following age groups:

Infants: 3 months to 1 year
Toddlers: 1 to 3 years
Youth: 4 to 8 years
Pre-Teen: 9 to 12 years

Each winner will receive a $50.00 U.S. Savings Bond, a child's portrait photography session by Island Images Professional Photography Studio, Inc., as well as an 8x10 Prestige Portrait Print for a combined value of $575.00. The winners will be featured in upcoming print advertisements and promotional materials for Island Images Photography Studio.

Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit alliance of more than 170 hospitals serving children throughout the United States and Canada. Funds contributed to Children's Miracle Network benefit Shands Children's Hospital at the University of Florida. Shands Children's Hospital uses the funds it receives from the Children's Miracle Network to purchase equipment, fund research, provide diversionary activities, and produce patient educational materials.
