Exchanging Treasurer for Earth's Angels

The Treasure Coast Pilot Club celebrated the end of a year of "Treasurers" with the installation of the 2008-2009 Officers. Pat Williams was recently elected president of The Treasure Coast Pilot Club of Vero Beach. President Pat chose as her theme "Pilots Are Earth's Angels". As president, Pat will preside over the club's Board of Directors, and will work with other club and district leaders in establishing club goals. Other elected officers include Joyce DuMars, President Elect; Phyllis Lembo, VP Publicity; Debbie Smith, Secretary; Barb Peltier, Treasurer. Directors are: Wendy Freshley, Fundraising; Mayme Hunt, Community Service; Debby Lundmark, Membership and Karin Ramsey, Director at Large.

Pilot International is a global organization of approximately 25,000 adult and youth members who are working together to improve the quality of life in local communities and throughout the world. Pilot's service focus is helping people affected by brain related disorders and disabilities through volunteer activities, projects and fund raisers.

Pat will also serve as the liaison between club members, the district, and Pilot International, and leading the club in its various service projects and activities. The local signature project for the Treasure Coast Pilot Club is Project Lifesaver in partnership with the Sheriff's Department and the Alzheimer Parkinson Association of Indian River County.
