Scholarships and a "Flower Power" theme Social

The GFWC Treasure Coast Women held their Annual July Club Social at the Pearl Restaurant on Ocean Drive with a special twist. They handed out three scholarships to deserving students. The Social was a huge success, the Pearl out did themselves,and the main event was indeed special. The three recipients were Ken Beehler, Dana Rogers,and Christopher Samuel O'Bryan. Ken and Christopher were on college out of state functions so their parents graciously accepted the scholarships for them. Dana was in attendance and accepted hers with proud Mom, Madelyn Rogers, at her side.

'Flower Power' was the theme and everyone wore flowers or attire with flower prints. Members and their husbands or special others stayed over for dinner which was excellent. The entire evening was enjoyed by all. Madelyn Rogers was chairman for the event and did great job! Our President Weasy Carmack presented the scholarships most graciuosly.
