Hibiscus goes 007 in 008
Contributed by: Angela Astrup on 8/4/2008

The 2008 Annual Winter Gala Committee is turning up the heat and invites you to don your Bond inspired ensemble as Hibiscus Goes 007 in 008. The Hibiscus Children's Center fundraiser From Vero with Love will be held at the Moorings Club on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Committee members, together with presenting sponsor Mercedes Benz Porsche Audi of Melbourne, promise this to be the social highlight of the season and are busy planning an exhilarating evening featuring cocktails (shaken, not stirred), a gourmet dinner, nonstop dancing, bond entertainment and a live and silent auction.

For over 20 years, Hibiscus Children's Center has been providing services to prevent and reduce child abuse, neglect, and abandonment on the Treasure Coast. In our community an average of 225 children are served each day by Hibiscus, with over 20,000 children helped since 1989. Each year, the Gala is held to increase public awareness and to raise the funds needed to protect these vulnerable children. Businesses and individuals alike help spread the mission of Hibiscus through their partnership on special events such as From Vero with Love.

Sponsorship and Underwriting opportunities are available and offer a tremendous opportunity for business recognition. Customized to promote your partnership with Hibiscus, benefits of sponsorship include coverage in all pre and post event publicity, name recognition in the event invitation, advertising space in the event program and more. Sponsors of the $1,200 level and above will also be invited to the For Your Eyes Only - VIP Party, sponsored by Windsor Properties and held in one of Vero's most exclusive locations. For information about sponsorship or underwriting opportunities or to reserve your seats, please contact Angela Astrup at (772) 978-9313, ext. 313.

Hibiscus thanks those sponsors and underwriters who have committed their support to ensure the safety, security and happiness of so many forgotten children throughout the Treasure Coast; Mercedes Benz Porsche Audi of Melbourne, Windsor Properties, Linda and Mel Teetz, Andrew and Marsha Edmonds, Daisy and Cliff Whitehill, Northern Trust, Helen and Earl Robertson, Lee and Suzanne Bertman, Jack Connolly, East Coast Equine and JC Britt, UBS Financial Services, Inc.
