New Horizons Receives Resolution from Indian River County Commissioners
Chairman Wesley Davis and the Indian River County Commissioners presented a Resolution proclaiming the week of October 4 through October 10, 2009 as "Mental health Awareness Week" in Indian River County, Florida to New Horizons President & CEO John Romano at the Tuesday Commission meeting.
The Resolution recognized the fact that mental health is essential to everyone's overall health and well-being, and urged the citizens of Indian River County to become more aware of mental health issues.
"New Horizons is very appreciative of the continued support extended by the Indian River County Commissioners," stated New Horizons CEO, John Romano. "The Commissioners address the needs of the mentally ill and in a most understanding manner."
